XVIII Congress of the Latin American Federation of Leather Technologists and Chemists (FLAQTIC 2012), 9 - 11 October 2012, Montevideo (Uruguay)

From 9 to 11 October 2012, was held in Montevideo (Uruguay) the XVIII Congress of the Latin American Federation of Leather Technologist and chemists, FLAQTIC 2012.
The main objective of the conference is the continuous improvement of the tanning process, through the development of innovative products and the exchange of information between research institutions and industry. For this edition INESCOP during this presentation of "European environmental projects on tanning of the skin", has released the results of the LIFE project PODEBA.
The leather industry in Latin America represents 20% of world production of leather, the participation of INESCOP this conference was an excellent opportunity for the dissemination of LIFE project PODEBA worldwide, given the large presence of professionals from Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Peru and Uruguay.
